Shay Tomlin MSN, PMHNP - BC

Shay Tomlin, MSN, PMHNP-BC, PMH-C, is an advanced practice nurse at Clarity Psychiatric Care in Clayton, New Jersey. She specializes in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She is also certified in perinatal mood disorders and enjoys working with women during the perinatal period.

 Shay began her nursing career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1996, then went on to obtain her associate's degree in nursing (RN) at Cumberland County College in 1999. In 2011, she obtained her bachelor's degree in nursing from Kaplan University. Shay obtained her master's degree in nursing from Drexel University in 2015 and has been practicing as a psychiatric nurse practitioner since.

Shay's nursing background includes working in long-term care, emergency nursing, addictions nursing, corrections, home care, and psychiatric nursing. 

As a nurse practitioner, Shay has worked in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has experience working with clients of all age groups and severity levels.
